The ​International ​Conference ​on ​Responsible ​and ​Inclusive ​Finance ​(ICRIF) ​will ​bring ​together ​leading ​practitioners, ​financial ​inclusion ​experts, ​government ​representatives ​and ​others ​dedicated ​to ​promoting ​the ​international ​responsible ​and ​inclusive ​finance ​agenda ​by ​providing ​learning ​opportunities ​for ​a ​range ​of ​actors ​about ​experiences ​within ​and ​outside ​of ​Rwanda. 

This ​conference ​will ​give ​participants ​an ​opportunity ​to ​share ​best ​practices ​and ​learn ​about ​strategies, ​successes ​and ​challenges ​of ​the ​Rwandan ​financial ​inclusion ​agenda, ​and ​also ​provide ​a ​forum ​for ​discussion ​on ​globally ​emerging ​practices ​and ​lessons ​as ​far ​as ​responsible ​financial ​inclusion ​is ​concerned. ​Progress ​in ​policy ​work, ​financial ​services ​provider ​practices, ​and ​client ​empowerment ​in ​areas ​such ​as ​digital ​finance, ​VSLAs, ​savings, ​etc. ​will ​be ​reviewed ​using ​the ​consumer ​protection ​lens, ​and ​the ​value ​add ​of ​consumer ​protection ​will ​be ​examined. ​ ​The ​role ​of ​the ​different ​market ​actors ​will ​also ​be ​highlighted.
