Over the past year, the British Business Bank has broadened and expanded their support for smaller businesses, cementing there place as a key enabler of finance markets in the UK. Their market impact continues to grow, as borne out by strong delivery against our Key Performance Indicators.

The chair, Christina McComb said the bank had moved from its startup phase to delivery. The business has substantially scaled up its programmes and broadened its support for smaller businesses across the UK. The Bank has extended partnerships, including Start Up Loans Company in April and have increased staff from 117 to 167.
