Our events

The Supply Chain Finance Innovation Hub develops a supportive and innovative community of SME finance professionals dedicated to expanding access to financing for SMEs through Supply Chain Financing solutions. The Community focuses on

1. Supporting members in problem solving and achieving scale in SCF solutions through sharing of industry best practices
2. Synergizing expertise within the community while integrating industry level expertise
3. Supporting forward looking innovation, pilots, and content development.

The agenda of the upcoming Innovation Hub “solutions clinic” would be as follows:

• Introduction, context, progress to-date (Qamar Saleem- Global Head SME Finance Forum)
• Key takeaways and learnings from the solutions clinic conducted during Global SME Finance forum in Johannesburg in November 2025 (Gavin Tarr - Head of Working Capital Solutions FNB Commercial)
• SCF Solutions, recent learnings, and deep tier focus (Steven Beck; Director, Trade and Supply Chain Finance, Asian Development Bank)
• The role of factoring, especially in reaching SMEs in deep tiers (Ravi Valecha, CEO India Factoring and Finance Solutions Private Limited
• TFG’s experience in partnering with senior banks and funds, for scaling SCF for SMEs (Mark Abrams; MD and Head of Trade & Receivables Finance Trade Finance Global)
• SMEFF Immersion Visit in November focused on Supply Chain Finance to India (Hourn Thy – Business Lead SME Finance Forum).
• Closing and Next Steps (Qamar Saleem and SCF hub -chairs)

There would be technical contributions from SCF hub co-chairs, senior leaders and specialists from SMEFF affiliates network who would be invited to provide additional perspectives and technical inputs. There would also be time for open discussion and Q&A during the session.

Our solutions clinics are member-only interactive, roundtable-style events, in which we crowd-in expertise from across the SMEFF membership to answer questions from members of the innovation hub.
