World’s Top Fintech Companies 2026

The fintech market generated $650 billion in revenue in 2025, a 21% rise from the previous year, according to McKinsey’s “The next age of fintech” report. That far outpaces the 6% annual growth seen in the $15-trillion broader financial services market.

Public listings also showed early signs of recovery in 2025, with 31 notable fintech IPOs, according to the report. The cumulative market capitalization of publicly listed fintechs now sits at $850 billion — a record high.

Against this backdrop, CNBC and Statista have named the top 500 fintech companies globally. The list includes firms of all sizes across eight different market segments. They are listed in alphabetical order, not via a numbered ranking, in a table under each segment. It marks the fourth year of CNBC and Statista’s partnership charting the world’s top fintech companies.
