Washington D.C., July 20th, 2021- Kountable joins the SME Finance Forum as the newest member of our global membership network. Our members are SME Financing experts from 80+ countries who share the common goal of expanding access to finance to small businesses worldwide through knowledge exchange and innovation.
“40 percent of small and medium businesses worldwide struggle to get access to the credit and capital that they need to grow their enterprises. We are delighted to welcome Kountable to our network of over 230 member institutions who are working to eliminate the finance gap for SMEs,” said Matthew Gamser, CEO of the SME Finance Forum.
Kountable has created a data and processing platform representing a secure system of record for its global trades. The platform is constructed from the ground up to support flexible business practices, governance, and risk constraints to include complete isolation of third-party data, emphasizing workflow integration with partners via its secure, managed API.
“Small businesses are not small. We believe that there is immeasurable value, economic and otherwise, in integrating the world’s SMEs into the global economy in ways that allow their impact to be seen at scale. Kountable was fortunate to host the SME Finance Forum executives and members at our offices as part of a study visit organized back in 2019 and learn first-hand about the Forum’s benefits. We are looking forward to further scaling our impact through our membership,” said Christopher Hale, CEO of Kountable.
