BBVA Open Talent 2015 - The startup competition that searches for partners to transform the Fintech world together

Why apply?
-Finalists will spend the day before the competition meeting with BBVA decision makers (including but not limited to team members from Innovation, Ventures, Digital M&A, Internal Venturing and Business Development)

-Finalists will pitch to a crowd comprised of venture capitalists, angel investors, local entrepreneurs, traditional finance/banking professionals, and last but not least, executives from BBVA 

-Coverage from local and national press

Winners

-€180,000 cash prize. 2 winners from each region will receive a €30,000 cash prize to develop a project in collaboration with BBVA (see success story)

-Immersion program, the winners will join us for a 2 week (not consecutive) immersion program in Mexico and London where they will meet some of the best companies in the finance & technology industry while leveraging BBVA’s contacts to boost your business opportunities.

 

Who is eligible?

-Startups created after April 1, 2011

-Focused on fintech, or with a possible connection to this sector (see what sectors we are interested in)

-An operative project, or at least with a demo or beta version available

-Less than €1.5 million of funding and €1 million of revenue over the last 

year
