MadfooatCom Joins 150 Other Financial Institutions to Promote SME Finance

Washington, D.C. March 26, 2019 –  MadfooatCom became the newest member of the SME Finance Forum, a global membership network that brings together financial institutions, technology companies, and development finance institutions to share knowledge, spur innovation, and promote the growth of SMEs.  

“200 million businesses worldwide need financing to invest, grow and create new jobs. We are proud to have MadfooatCom join our network of 150 members who work to expand access to finance for small and medium businesses,” said Matthew Gamser, CEO of the Forum.  

MadfooatCom is the first e-payments company in Jordan, established in 2011. Their solutions make it possible for consumers in the MENA region and beyond to view and pay their bills with ease, comfort and speed. 

With an investment by Oasis500, MadfooatCom aims to disrupt the cash payments in the emerging markets. In 2014, MadfooatCom won the bid for the Central Bank of Jordan's project to build and operate eFAWATEERcom; the national electronic bill presentment and payment service in Jordan.   

Today, it is connected to more than 98 percent of the banks in Jordan and more than 149 billers including all telecom, utilities, private and government sector billers, and has processed till date, more than 14.4 million bills.
