Webinar: Building a High Performance SME Banking Sales Model

SME Banking is increasingly being recognized as a separate discipline which is not akin to Corporate or Retail Banking and hence needing its own set of required competencies to be a sustainable business. Broad based competencies are needed across a broad range of areas: business model/product design, sales effectiveness, credit frameworks, team capacity building, alternate channels and process automation, to be more effective in controlling cost to control. IFC & Roland Berger research concludes that SME portfolio returns can potentially be increased by nearly 4 times if the requisite SME performance and sales management techniques are instituted.

Would you like to learn how to organize your SME Banking teams, align requisite channels and design coverage models for high productivity? Would you like to learn how to productize your business proposition and how best to price and bundle for higher revenue per customer? Would you like to learn best practices around sales management in SME banking, customer and product lifecycle management?

Join Qamar Saleem, IFC Global SME Banking Specialist who will share IFC's learning in working and advising financial institutions globally, followed by a deep dive presentation from Rajeev Chalisgaonkar, Global Head of Business Banking, Standard Chartered Bank, which is regarded as one of the best practice banks across emerging markets in the areas of focus for the webinar.
